General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways reminds the subcontractors of the construction works, that the legal protection indicated in Article 6471 of the Civil Code (so-called joint and several liability) is vested in them. To such protection are entitled the subcontractors approved by the GDDKiA.

The right to apply for the approval is vested in those performing the construction works (who fulfil the requirements determined in Article 647.1 of the CC). All the subcontractors of the construction works, approved by the GDDKiA, who don’t receive payments from the Contractor, shall receive payment for the performed works directly from the GDDKiA, after the fulfilment of the conditions determined in the procedure in force in this respect in the GDDKiA.
